Soda Blasting
Soda blasting is a mild form of abrasive blasting in which sodium bicarbonate particles are blasted against a surface using compressed air. It has a much milder abrasive effect than sandblasting while providing more abrasion than dry ice blasting.
Soda blasting is a non-destructive method for many applications, including but not limited to paint and varnish stripping, automotive restoration, industrial equipment maintenance, rust removal, graffiti removal, masonry cleaning and restoration, boat hull cleaning and more.
We also provide in-shop soda blasting in our specialized blasting booth, ideal for smaller movable items, such as classic cars, automotive parts, pieces of production line equipment, conveyor belts, manufacturing equipment, works of art and more.
Ontario Blasting Specialties offer mobile soda blasting services for much of southwestern Ontario, the Niagara Golden Horseshoe and the GTA. Find out today if soda blasting is the right cleaning or surface preparation method for your job.
